Based in Falmouth, I aim to create pieces that interpret a clients needs, while being well built and versatile enough to last for generations. My training as a product designer and engineer has led me slightly off the beaten track, to a deep appreciation of age-old traditional techniques and vernacular forms. This helps me make contemporary pieces that have real permanence. I also design and make fine musical instruments, and offer set-up and repair of acoustic mandolins and guitars.

A lot of the work on this page was made in collaboration with my partner Amy Stevens, who I'm working with to start a new business in a new workshop - watch this space.
